In the above example the Teacher stays in the the BA (Bachelors Lane) with the district.  Note:  Each full year - staff move down one step and then go to the next years schedule for calculation of salary.  The above example does not take into consideration any college credit classes that the teacher may have taken.  Additional classes earn a bump in salary at 16 hours, and 24 hours for a Bachelors degree.
